Give dignity back to a street dweller

 

Golden Anchor Solid Rock Foundation practice what they preach. The vision is to restore lives and to give hope to hopeless individuals. The chair of the board Diena George said it is good to give the dignity of the street dwellers back. They are human beings and need a dignified funeral. Pastor Kanamayer said that people must take responsibility for their lives and stop blaming other people. This was a funeral of a street dweller.

One member of Golden Anchor Solid Rock Foundation takes time to prepare sandwiches for the vulnerable and homeless individuals on the day after human rights day in South Africa. It does not matter who the person is or what the person did but what matters is that the person has a right to food. The aim of Golden Anchor Solid Rock is to restore lives and gives hope to hopeless individuals and through feeding give their dignity back.

Unemployed youth preparing food for the vulnerable

Unemployed youth use their time to prepare food for the vulnerable. It is good to see how young people make time to give something back to the community. The children and adults they serve with food enjoyed the food. 

 

Serving justice by feeding the needy

Feeding where it is needed most. Reach people in the areas where people normally do not want to enter, that is where Golden Anchor Solid Rock Foundation is serving justice. Feeding is the passion of the team. They are not restricted by race or class all that matters is the feeding of the vulnerable. In the above picture the team is handing out noodles to the children. The children could not hide their excitement when receiving the noodles. The team wanted to do more but need your assistance and support. Feeding the vulnerable in a time of need

  

The volunteers at the Golden Anchor Solid Rock Foundation preparing food for the vulnerable. They are giving everything when preparing the food. They are doing it in their own time. One volunteer came from the night shift but still making time to prepare the food. They served the children and the adults. The adults to not want to photograph, but they came to fetch food. They showed they enjoyed the food. Some responses were: "thank you, the food was delicious" Such response motivated the volunteers to continue with preparing the food for the vulnerable. They said they will cook again for the vulnerable.
