Feeding the vulnerable in a time of need

  

The volunteers at the Golden Anchor Solid Rock Foundation preparing food for the vulnerable. They are giving everything when preparing the food. They are doing it in their own time. One volunteer came from the night shift but still making time to prepare the food. They served the children and the adults. The adults to not want to photograph, but they came to fetch food. They showed they enjoyed the food. Some responses were: "thank you, the food was delicious" Such response motivated the volunteers to continue with preparing the food for the vulnerable. They said they will cook again for the vulnerable.

Activities in the park and what to see

 

There were activities for the children to keep them busy while waiting on the major activity of the day. The children enjoyed themselves. Some children showed they liked treasure hunting, they enjoyed watching the animals and the trampolining. 

 

Party for the needy children in Salt River, Cape Town.

Sheradia Brown in Salt River prepared a party for the vulnerable children in the area. She invited Golden Anchor Solid Rock Foundation to the party. Thanks to @smile904fm for donating the masks.

The children were in a party mood. Hence, the child in the picture not only come to enjoy herself but also to gather supper for her family. She said to her little brother "the food you cannot finish I will take it home and you can eat it tonight. I will take my food for mommy. She can eat it for supper."
