Lankes, et. al. 2016. argued librarians make communities better in partnership with their community members. The librarians of UWC Library were doing that by donating money to Golden Anchor Solid Rock Foundation's feeding project. The librarians donated R1390.00.
The aim of the organization is to give hope to hopeless individuals. Out of this aim derives the objective to great safe spaces and give dignity back. The organization is doing that by giving the beneficiaries a nutritional plate of food in a safe safe space.
Every donation, big or small, is welcome.
